Chicken Caesar wrap
Thank you, Costco! A chicken Caesar wrap sandwich and sweet cherries from my Costco run yesterday. I like how they wrap the sandwich in pretty paper to keep it all together — think I’ll look for nice paper for wrapping homemade sandwiches. Would work better than a toothpick, at any rate.

Salmon & purple lunch
Purple cauliflower (a nod to drv1913 on Flikr), raisins, English muffin, cherry tomatoes, wild salmon, and sauteed chili/garlic asparagus and orange bell peppers. Under the raisins is a container of mustard/fennel/cream sauce for the salmon and cauliflower. Packed in my new 810ml box (pretty big, but not huge).

Wrap brunch bento for mom/toddler
Yesterday I discovered that my son would eat sandwich wraps, but only if he got it in one big wrap, without being cut into little bite-size servings. So this one was a real quickie — threw together a ham, cheese, and roasted bell pepper wrap, and some blueberries, tomatoes and Laughing Cow cheese. We split it in the morning while we were out running errands. Packed in my two-tier 600ml box.

Tarako spaghetti x 3 bentos
Sadly, today I accidentally cracked the lid of the blue bento box below. At 490ml, it was the perfect size one-tier box for me… *sniff*
Tarako spaghetti with red peppers, onions, kaiware (daikon sprouts) and kizami nori. I’ve got nectarines in a separate container, and my son has Laughing Cow cheese in his. Everything in the toddler bento is cut smaller. My husband got his bento in a larger box behind the cut.
