Oh goodness! I wish I'd seen this before I did my first art bento. Did a seascape, but limited myself to what was in the house and did not use any specialized bento gear to do it -- just as a challenge, you know? I did make fishies out of grape tomatoes, but that's wayyyyy cooler.

I tried this yesterday with grape tomatoes, and I sent them all swimming in a little tupperware container lines with a blue cupcake wrapper. I think I wasn't exact enough when I peeled the skin off (I must've caught some of the actual fruit with my knife, because the "body" of the fish was a little goopy from the seeds). Otherwise, it was quite cute and even though I'm not really a fan of tomatoes I ate them all!
