Re: Vegan help needed

I've never been vegan but during my casein-free years I found the vegan websites/blogs to be very helpful. Vegan Gourmet cheese was the one that I liked the best of the ones that I tried. Just be careful to get enough protein and not get too carby. Quinoa is a good source as is tofu if soy is not something that you avoid. It would also be a good idea to utilize as many slow acting carbs as you can.
Come visit me at Flickr for bentos that are always gluten-free for mom and kiddo, sometimes casein-free and now always lowcarb for mom.

I understand. I have to analyze every ingredient of everything that I ever consider buying. Forgive me for jumping in on a topic that I don't live-I just wanted to share the bit that I knew and experienced in hopes that it might give you just one more thing that worked. Forgive me for being a bit mothering too, I just can't help but to worry about others health a bit as a result of my experiences and what they've taught me. I remembered that the Turtle Mountain "ice cream"s that I tried were very yummy!

Have you seen our own forum member veganf's blog? or this one http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/

I hope after the weekend you'll get responses with lots of advice from some of our vegans.
