Ichiban Kan update: Intl. shipping & thermal bento sets

Ichiban Kan writes on their blog that they'll be offering shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and a "few selected countries" when they start international shipping shortly. This should make a lot of readers happy!

They also write that they'll be stocking thermal bento sets (like the one I use for Bug and bought there last year? unclear) and more Hakoya-brand boxes in a few months. Stay tuned.

I'm glad they are realizing their future in shipped merchandise.
It worries me when places like Daiso closed (a friend said the store near her in WA closed recently), maybe they should start offering an online selection too if their retail stores are suffering.

Their site update is fantastic! So much easier to navigate, I just placed an order and it was SO simple. (Not that it was particularly difficult before, but it's a big improvement.)

I believe all orders placed after Feb. 16 are on the new system, and require customers to reregister.
