Bento of the Month Contest: Speed (1/09)

Alright! Welcome to the First bento of the month contest.

Anyone is free to participate(and encouraged)

Here's the drill.

The theme for the first Bento will be Speed. Contestants will have until January 28th to make the speediest, AND most delicious looking bento they can, and post a picture of it in this thread. After the 28th I will take all of the pictures and make a poll, and all the members will judge which bento they think should be the winner!


Any questions just post them in here and I will answer them!

Go for it, QChan! (BTW, QChan is one of our helpful moderators, and she came up with this great idea to use the forum for an interesting bento contest.)

I just posted a proper contest announcement on the main Lunch in a Box blog, and Jenn of Not Exactly Bento has generously offered a Japanese cookbook as a prize for the winner. It's Authentic Japanese Cuisine for Beginners: A Step-by-Step Guide by Sabi Shinojima. Let the games begin!
