Change to new member registrations (to reduce spam)

I was hoping to avoid this, but I've switched the forum settings so that new member registrations will need to be approved by me or a moderator before they can post to the board. There's been an influx of spammers on the board recently, so this is an effort to save us all from those annoying spam posts that have been littering our screens. Hopefully it'll save the sanity of the moderators as well! Thanks for your patience.

As a test, I've changed it back so that new members can approve their own registrations (I was falling shamefully behind on actually vetting people for approval -- too much volume). Let's see how it goes. Hopefully we won't have another spammer problem, but we can always switch back if we do.
