How long can Nori last??

Postby kawaii09 on Wed Feb 03, 2010 4:37 pm

So I just looked at my package of Yama Moto Yama teriyaki nori strips and the date was out on 1/30/10. How long does nori stay for? It's still crispy and all, I tried a bit and it tasted fine...I just wondered if I should just throw it out or if it's ok to keep?? I totally forgot about the bag and it's almost all the way full :(
What should I do?? lol

It'll be just fine. I don't know what the shelf life is but they come with those moisture zapping silica packets. As long as the texture and all seems fine, you're ok. Of course, in our house, I have to practically keep it under lock and key or nori-boy will devour it in one day!
Come visit me at Flickr for bentos that are always gluten-free for mom and kiddo, sometimes casein-free and now always lowcarb for mom.
