Spam musubi bento

This wound up being a bento for the emergency room. I ate it there while my two-year-old got rehydrated from a four-day stomach bug (poor guy!). Fingers crossed that that did the trick — I don’t want to make more hospital bentos if I can help it!

[1] Musubi lunch お弁当

  • homemade spam musubi (with seasoned sushi rice, wasabi furikake, and homemade teriyaki sauce)
  • homemade egg musubi (with dashimaki tamago: [2] step-by-step tutorial here)
  • takuan Japanese pickles
